Alamanda Cathartica
A genus of about 30 species of both deciduous and evergreen shrubs from eastern Asia and Mexico. In summer, they will produce an abundance of tubular shaped flowers in clusters for which they are grown. Foliage is dark green and may need staking. Fully to half hardy, but in cold areas does best against a south or west facing wall. Requires a sheltered, sunny position and fertile well drained soil. Remove dead wood in late spring and prune out older branches after flowering to restrict growth, if required. Propagate by softwood cuttings in summer. |

Antigonon Leptopus
This is an fast growing evergreen climbing vine with elegant sprays of pink-coral pink flowers which bloom in clusters in the summer and last into autumn. In frost-free areas, the blooms may be year-round. Will do well in any fertile, well drained soil as long as it's a sunny spot. Water generously in the growing season and sparingly at other times. Provide support and thin out congested growth in the early spring. Seeds can be sown indoors year-round with moderate to warm temperatures. |

Clerodendron Inerme
This plant is an erect or somewhat straggling shrub 1 to 4 meters high. The leaves are ovate, oblong-ovate, or elliptic-ovate, 4 to 8 centimeters long, 2 to 5 centimeters wide, shinning, smooth, entire, and pointed at the tip. Clitoria Ternatea
The name of this species refers to the Indonesian island of Ternate, where this species was first recorded. A trailing or scandent, evergreen annual or biennial climber native to tropical Asia. Elliptic to ovate, bright green leaves are 3-5 ternate and oval in shape. Large flowers are dark blue, centred yellow and appear in summer until autumn. These are followed by flat pods. There is also a double-flowered form. Minimum growing temperature of 19C and a maximum optimum growing temperature of 28C. |

This genus consists of about 500 species of creepers, evergreen shrubs, perennials and annuals; most have a twining habit and masses of funnel-shaped, fragrant flowers. They are half hardy to frost tender, min 7-10C. Grow in humus-rich, well drained soil in full light. Support will be needed. Propagation is by seeds in the spring or by softwood or semi-ripe cuttings in the summer. Watch out for whitefly and red spider mite that may cause problems. |
